Artist's Comments

It's so depressing with no snow on the ground. It was snowing during the week here in Finland, but today it all just melt away again. Bleh. -_-

Voo. Taas kerran jotain ihanaa sinulta. Ensimmäinen kommentti, jei. Olet silti yksi jumalolento. *fav*

The death of somebody you love is the second worst thing in the world. Worst thing is letting it hurt you so much that you die too - inside.

Vau, upea. Sopiva vuodenaikaan kyllä. Täälläpäin on kyllä lunta, joskin aika vaihtelevasti...mutta viime viikolla oli ihan 10 senttiä lunta ja somaa oli.

That is so pretty... It's perfect! The wings have a great leathery look to it... The shading on every single scale can be seen! I love how the scales are a lot bigger and longer on the neck! The wingclaws are great... the horns on the dragons head are great, but one of them seems to be growing behind the head instead of in front of it? The underbelly scales look really tough...I have no idea how you got them to look like that, but they do... The dragon's claws are good, they're long, but you managed to make it look natural! I like how the scales are greenish, but in some places they change a little to a more golden tone.

The rock that the dragon's sitting on is great, the texture and the colours used really look good, how it looks like it's weathered and worn from the weather with scratches and the deformed shape. That grass... wow! They look so convincing, the colours are just right, as is the ground from which they're growing from. The background really gives a sense of depth, I love how you can make backgrounds so intricately interesting... with the lakes/waterholes in the distance, and still showing texture in the ground... The water texture is great, I like all the different colours in it!

The clouds in the distance are great, as are the ones closer to the foreground. I like how the background clouds are fainter, and seemingly more wispy, while the ones in the foreground are fluffier. The light streaming from the clouds... well, it looks great! I love how the clouds around it are lighted... I would never be bothered to do that!

I love the fonts you use for your titles, and the bright... things that are on either side of them, I've noticed them before but never bothered commenting on them... they're so pretty and add to the picture so much!! I like how the black thick border has thin light blue and light green lines on either side of it, I would'nt've been bothered doing that, but it really separates the black border with the main picture, and it makes it kinda.. less intrusive, I would say.

Hehe, long comment =P But I love this picture... I had to point out everything! Here in Australia, we NEVER get any snow (not at least where I am).. I've never seen snow fall in my life! I really want to, though...

As always, I love your pictures... you put so much work into them :)
