::If you take a full view I'll give you an imaginary cookie::
Bwah, I haven't painted anything at all in over a month! Thats's right, nothing at all, not a single little scrap, before this. Why? Well, I got my grades a few weeks ago, and I'm definitely not statisfied. I mean, how am I supposed to get into...um, what is it called in Enlish? Upper secondary school? Probably not, but to wathever school you go to after ninth grade, if I go and get LOWER grades on my second last term? (I guess my teachers finally decided to go and get pissed at my constant lack of concentration and that I'm drawing when they talk. This year I've had five teachers screaming at me, the previous eight years one.^^')
So, I decided to work my ass off with school work and skipp painting, at least until 24. 4, because that is when my admission interview or wathever is and I finally get to know how high grades I'm supposed to have. :3
So the picture then, eh? Well, I have no inspiration because off all the stress, so it's just something simple, a practise of fur-painting actually. It was supposed to be a dragon, that's why she is able to breath fire (yeah, that's fire, believe me or not) and I have no idea at what part she turned into a gryphon. She just did. Anyvay, I really put a lot of effort into this, and I actually like the outcome more than I thought I would. Hope you guys do so too. ^__^
At least you are drawing when teachers are talking. I'm falling asleep, otherwise annoying everyone in my row and everyone in the row in front of me. (:
I like how you draw fur. It's unique and very interesting. You can really see your style and your way of drawing! I noticed that it was a little dragon-like, especially with the beak. Nice work making it a smooth transition into the gryphon though. I like the pose of the character too. I still think the fur is exceptional work - I can really see how you've improved! It's wonderful. (:
The fire effect is nice as well. Perhaps you could make some more glows around it to achieve a fire-assuming-a-shape effect? That way, the fire does not look so controlled. I dunno, that's my suggestion. I still like the concepts of it though.
... I really like the way you draw the fur. I think you need a fur tutorial. :b Anyways, wonderful work here, keep it up!
I enjoy looking at your art; it's really pretty.
